ABOUT US
ALPHABET ROCKERS make music that sparks change and creates cultures of belonging. Founded by visionary artists Kaitlin McGaw (she/her) and Tommy Shepherd (he/him/they), the GRAMMY award-winning duo specialize in collaboration and creating joyful spaces where everyone belongs.
HOW WE WORK
From boardrooms to convention centers, we curate environments of belonging reflective of our style and track record of holding difficult conversations. In keynotes and speaking engagements we’ll utilize DJs, storytelling and other resources to cultivate a sense of community.
CENTER YOUR STORY
Alphabet Rockers keynotes weave songs and movement into storytelling for a true conversation that builds community. The program is participatory, for a whole-body experience, and as one participant noted: “Alphabet Rockers balance being welcoming, inclusive, and challenging at the same time.” In our storytelling, we create bridges for participants to feel compassion, belonging and an invitation to go deep in our work in ourselves as well as in community. MUSICAL PERFORMANCES
Our storytelling is woven into select musical performances that embody community connection, inclusion and team building. Plus: we can teach the audience to beatbox - a great ice breaker and memory.
LIVE DJ
We give your whole event a soundtrack. Our resident DJ provides a pulse that keeps everyone engaged while they listen, engage and learn together.

EMPOWERING VOICES: SONGWRITING AT ANY AGE
Team-Building Workshop
GRAMMY-winning Alphabet Rockers are renowned for their joyful, authentic songs addressing power, bias, oppression, and transformative justice. In our interactive workshop, "Empowering Voices: Songwriting At Any Age," no experience is needed—just creativity through listening and asking questions.
WORKSHOP 2
WE GOT WORK TO DO: INTEGRATING ANTI-RACISM INTO CURRICULUM
Integrate anti-racist work into your daily practice with GRAMMY-winning Alphabet Rockers in an interactive session that uses music and creativity to explore antiracist ideas with K-12 students. This session will foster meaningful conversations and activities, empowering students to identify and interrupt racism while gaining insights on how to hold engaging and inclusive discussions about racism, equity, and social justice.
WORKSHOP 3
IMAGINING A WORLD WITHOUT OPPRESSION
“We Will Not Be Oppressed” invites us to imagine and inhabit a world of inclusion and belonging. Work with GRAMMY-winning Alphabet Rockers in a creative arts workshop exploring systems of oppression and your collective power to make change. Every participant will imagine a tool to dismantle oppression, drawing and embodying its impact. The critical thinking skills developed in this workshop can be applied to any projects you design to serve your own community.
